At Everyday Champions Centre you will meet people from all walks of life, doctors, musicians, teachers, shop-owners, factory workers, accountants, cleaners and dressmakers.

All of them are everyday people who have been helped and changed by the extraordinary love of God. Each one has a story to tell about how discovering faith in Jesus Christ put incredible peace, purpose and hope back into their lives.

As a Church we aim to be a safe place for kids, a supportive place for parents, a welcoming place for visitors, an exciting place for teenagers, a friendly place for Senior Citizens and a home for the Community.

We believe that, real life is worth celebrating, so we do! With excellent music, passionate and relevant preaching, great social gatherings for food and friendship and all kinds of fun activity, church has never looked so good... you’re so welcome!

Our purpose is to create a community where people feel that they belong. We want to champion the cause of people in the Newark and Sherwood area by providing services that help develop them and realise their potential.

ECC was established in the 1970's when Pastor Ken Morgan and his wife Sylvia came to Newark to take on the church. Since then the church have been through two major building projects and the influence of ECC goes beyond the boundaries of Newark.

In the 1990's ECC took on three struggling churches in Ruskington, Lincoln and Collingham. Today all those churches are growing churches with passionate leaders at the helm.

The influence then extended beyond the shores of Britain as ECC took on five schools in the African nation of The Gambia. New Life Childrens Centres (charity no.1065802) reach just under 2000 children every week with high quality education and activities out of school time.

Volunteers from ECC centres and many other organisations make the trip to The Gambia to give much needed input.
